Zingler-Knapke, Emilie Helen "Millie"

Emilie Helen "Millie" Zingler-Knapke, 94, De Pere, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, January 6, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born June 30, 1918 in Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Henry and Wanda (Bloch) Schrader. She married Richard Zingler who preceded her in death; she then married Otto Knapke who also preceded her in death.

Millie started Zingler Marketing in Green Bay and grew that business for twenty years before she deciding to retire. Millie was an avid golfer and had memberships at Brown County Country Club and Hilly Haven Golf Course; she also enjoyed playing bridge and bowling. She was the oldest living Past President of the De Pere Women's Club and loved to travel the world.

Millie is survived by her daughters: Christine (Wayne) Seminari, Surprise, AZ and Bobbie (Larry) Longlais, De Pere; and her eight grandchildren and their children: Julie (Kevin) Rowkamp - Scott and Steven, of Bloomington, MN, Tracey (Jeff) Herrig - Mitchell, Mace, Madelyn, and Marin, of Eden Prairie, MN, Joe (Rebecca) Seminari - Graham and Giana of Rogers, MN, Christopher (Heather) Longlais - Reese, Kogan, Taya and Tyla, of Allouez, Amber (Chad) Blahnik - Coltin, Joleigh, Jocelyn, Bryson, and Cade of De Pere, Dr. Brett Longlais of De Pere, Kurt (Michelle) Cichy - Tyler, Alicia, Ethan, and Christian of De Pere, and Heidi (Red) Zingler Hoslet - Bella of Green Bay. She is further survived by her brother Arnold (Dorothy) Schrader of Las Vegas, NV and her sister Wanda Davis of Breckenridge, MN. Millie was preceded in death by her son Stephen Zingler; her parents; her husbands Richard Zingler and Otto Knapke; and her brothers George (Fran) Schrader and Donald Schrader.
