Evelyn M. Vandenhoven, 83, of Green Bay, passed away March 31, 2012 and is walking with the Lord. She was born on September 11, 1928 to the late John and Virginia (Meyer) Nooyen. Evelyn enjoyed cooking, flowers, gardening and had a love of dogs. She was very proud of her family and loved giving bear hugs to her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Milton Vandenhoven; 6 children, Kit (Sharon) Vandenhoven, Lakewood, WI, Patricia (Mike) Clark, Sun Prairie, WI, Connie (Peter) Corsten, Barbara (Thomas) Vandermuss, Lynn DuBois, and Scott (Holly) Vandenhoven; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Patrick and Jeff Vandenhoven; 1 grandson Timothy DuBois; 2 brothers, Raphael and Raymond Nooyen.
Friends may call at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Ln. from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial Mass 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. David Pleier officiating. Online condolences may be sent to the Vandenhoven family at www.prokowall.com.
