Harold Wilson Obituary
Wilson, Harold

Harold M. Wilson "Tug", age 95, of Green Bay, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013. He was born in Mill Center on October 7, 1917, son of the late Irvin and Amanda (Barlament) Wilson. In 1941, Harold was united in marriage to Edna Hamilton. Together they enjoyed traveling, fishing and working on the family farm until her passing in 1984. Harold worked as a machinist for FMC/Hudson-Sharp for nearly 40 years, a career he truly loved and devoted himself to. He then went on to marry Marie Zemblowski and they too enjoyed traveling and camping. Together they built their retirement home in Howard where they lived for almost 23 years until Marie's passing in 2010. Harold also enjoyed hunting and was an avid Packers and Brewers fan. He liked to keep up on the world news and events and took pride in his analytical mind. Harold could always tell you a good story about the way things used to be.

He is survived by two children, Keith (Debra) Wilson and Cindi (John) Desmelyk; five grandchildren, Erin (Bill) Foster, Jesse (Lindsey) Wilson, Adam (Kim) Wilson, Travis (Melissa) Schreiber and Melissa (Nate) Zschaechner. Harold is further survived by nine great-grandchildren, a brother, Raymond (Janet) Wilson; a sister, Isabel Adelbush; two brothers-in-law, Buddy (Katie) Zemblowski and Leonard (Joan) Zemblowski and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Alice Nitschke, Dorothy Holewinski and Delores Holewinski.

Visitation for Harold will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue. Visitation will continue from 10:00 am until the hour of service at 11:00 am on Friday, September 27, 2013 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 341 Wilson Avenue, with the Rev. Diane Rew officiating.
