John DuChateau, 60, Menasha, passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at Theda Clark Medical Center. My dad was a fun person. He loved to be with people and make sure everyone was having a good time, especially during holidays with our families. He loved traveling and being outside bird watching.

Dad, now you and Uncle Russ will never miss cheering on the Packers, Brewers and Badger teams. I love you and will miss you. I want to send a special thank you to you, Aunt Beth, for taking such good care of my dad. Love, Katy.
John is survived by his daughter, Katy Peterson (fiancee, Tom), and her mother, Debra; John's sisters, Beth, Jeanne, Diane, and Patty; brothers-in-law, Mike, Pat and Mark; nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Dorothy DuChateau; and his best friend, Russ Sandlin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Parish, 528 2nd St., Menasha. Family and friends may visit at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
