John Andrew Lane, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, in Palm Springs Calif.

John was born on May 12, 1944, in Moorhead, Minn., to Allan and Thelma Lane.
At a very young age, John developed a love for music. This passion started his lifelong career as a pianist entertainer. John was a phenomenally talented musician who captivated his audience with his vast repetoire of music. John's musical career path took him across the country and to many places in the world, where he entertained crowds at supper clubs and on cruise ships.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Allan and Thelma Lane.
John is survived by two brothers, two sisters and their families. Allan Lane Jr. (Judy), Bob Lane (Lynn), Mary Harrill (Bobby), Debbie Paluch (Jack); and a very special friend, Patricia Chenowith.
A private family celebration of John's life will be held at a later date.
