Lawrence "Larry" Perryman, age 74, of Green Bay, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014. He was born in Ontonagon, MI on September 4, 1939, son of the late William and Ruth (Eddy) Perryman. On June 29, 1963, Larry was united in marriage to Sharon Gilman.
From 1958 to 1961, Larry served his country in the United States Army while stationed in Germany.
For over 30 years, Larry drove over the road for Schneider Transport. During his time on the road, he recorded over 3 million miles in his career before retiring in 2001. Larry enjoyed going golfing, fishing, jigsaw puzzles and spending time at the family cabin in Eagle River.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; a son, Bryan; a daughter, Kimberly (Phil) Paulson; three grandchildren, Kelsey and Kyle Paulson and Samantha Perryman. He is further survived by two brothers and four sisters, Harry (Jean), Bill (Kim), Nancy (Curt) Risley, Dorothy Knesley, Audrey Tahtinen and Lois (Ray) Roney as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Chuck Knesley and Gordy Tahtinen along with three nephews.
Visitation for Larry will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 9:30 am until the hour of service at 11:30 with Deacon Jim Gauthier officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
