Tassoul, Louis J.

Louis J. Tassoul, 77, Pulaski, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at a Green Bay hospital. The son of Louis and Ethel (Kuske) Tassoul was born October 7, 1936, in Green Bay. On December 12, 1964, Louis was united in marriage with Alice Van De Hei at the courthouse in Green Bay. He worked as a steel worker for 25 years at Ladish Company in Milwaukee. Louis was a former member of the Blacksmith's Union. He greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, sailing, and water skiing.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Tassoul, Pulaski; one son, Randall Van De Hei, Juneau; two daughters: Monica (Dan) Betters, Menasha; and Becky Eberle, Milwaukee; four grandchildren: Mareissa Spahn, Milwaukee; Ronnie Tassoul, Milwaukee; Joseph Eberle, Milwaukee; and Corina Eberle, Milwaukee; four great-grandchildren; siblings: Arnold Tassoul, John (Betty) Tassoul, Ervin Tassoul, Betty Kitzman, Mary De Grave, and Gladys (Willis) Knight; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends. In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Tassoul.

Friends may call at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski Street, Pulaski, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the church, Fr. Bob Konkol, O.F.M., presiding. Entombment will take place at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum in Green Bay.
