Jauquet, Lucille

Lucille "Ceil" Jauquet, 89, Green Bay resident, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 27, 2012, just five days before her 90th birthday. She was born January 2, 1923, in the town of Stark, WI to the late William and Frances (Linsmeyer) Kane. Lucille graduated from St. Josephs Academy. She married Francis Jauquet on October 22, 1946, at Holy Martyrs of Gorcum in Green Bay. Lucille and Francis owned and operated Jauquet's Bar (now known as Pearly Gates). She was also employed by Schreiber Foods and the Visiting Nurses Association. She was a 50 year member of the VFW Winiecki Post Womens Auxiliary and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Community. Lucille volunteered her time and talents at the Brown County Mental Health Center and Holy Martyrs Church taking care of the floral arrangements around the altar. Before her illness, Lucille enjoyed reading, going for walks, bowling and going to Packer games.

Lucille is survived by her husband, Francis Jauquet; their daughter, Barb Hendrickson, Green Bay; two grandchildren; Chad Hendrickson, Green Bay; Lori Hendrickson, Colombia, South America; one sister, Margaret "Peg" Kane, Green Bay; nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her Jauquet family relatives, Irma Clark, Marian Jauquet and Marcie (Ken) Baumgart.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Jauquet; her son-in-law, Dennis Hendrickson; three brothers, John, William (Hilda) and Robert (Wilma) Kane; four sisters, Katherine (Adolph) Herold, Sr. Frances Kane, Sr. Florence Kane and Mary (Urban) Titulaer.

Friends may tentatively call at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 3425 Willow Rd. after 9:30 am Friday January 18, 2013 until time of Mass. Memorial Mass is tentatively scheduled for 11:00 am Friday at the church with Rev. Dan Viertel officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Martyrs Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staffs at Bornemann & Odd Fellows Nursing Homes for their excellent care given to Lucille for the last 3 years. Barb would also like to thank her cousins—Colleen Phillips, Kathy Konop, Sherry & Aimee Rentmeester for all their help.
