Marcia Ness-Slye Obituary
Marcia Ness-Slye, 79, Green Bay passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012 of a very short illness. Born in Green Bay on November 29, 1932 she is the daughter of the late John and Jerrine (LeFever) Steiner. She married the love of her life, Clinton Slye on October 3, 2000 and he preceded her in death on June 19, 2008. Marcia graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay with a Bachelors Degree of Science (Human Biology) and from Leslie College in Cambridge, Massachusetts with a Masters Degree of Education. Marcia was a teacher in the Green Bay School System for 25 years. She enjoyed painting, Sudoku, reading, fishing, music and flowers. Marcia loved being with her family. Boat rides and vacations were pure heaven.

Survived by: two daughters: Deborah and her husband David Rasmussen of Green Bay; Diane and her husband John Ireland of Shawano; five grandchildren: Paula (David) Berken, Heidi Bulik (fiancé Tom Gallagher), Laura (Kurt) DePagter all of Green Bay; Shelly (Chuck) Petty of Little Suamico and Scott (Mary) Raymaker of Green Bay, 7 Great Grandchildren: Alissa and Jake Berken, Kobe and Brennan Bulik, Carson and Brielle DePagter, Connor Petty; one sister: Carole Conway of Appleton; special friend of the family: Chris Bulik of Green Bay, her little companion-Kitty, other relatives and friends.

Marcia was preceded in death by her husband - Clinton, her parents, one brother-in-law: John Conway of Appleton.

Friends may call at Wequoick Presbyterian Church, 4014 Wequiock Road, Green Bay from 11am Saturday until the time of the memorial service. Memorial service 1pm Saturday at the church with Pastor Bill Kamke officiating.

In accordance with Marcia's wishes, in lieu of flowers please acknowledge the memorial fund which has been established by the family for donations to be made to the Green Bay Humane Society, the Shawano Humane Society and the Salvation Army.
