Marvel Rose Buell, 85, a lifelong Green Bay resident, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at home with her family by her side. Marvel was born March 16, 1927 in Green Bay, to the late Fred and Josephine (Tegge) Buell. She attended Elmore Elementary School, Franklin Junior High, and graduated from West High School in 1945. Marvel was employed her entire career in various positions at Sears in Green Bay. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved her dogs; Cupid, Muffing and Buffy.
Marvel is survived by her sister-in-law Mary Jane Buell and many loving nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews, all of whom were like her own children. She had a way of making each of them feel they were her favorite. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by all of her siblings; Carol Servais, Violet Knapp, Clem, Hollis, Louis and Sheldon Buell, her sisters-in-law; Dot and Audrey Buell and her brothers-in-law Jake Knapp, Robert Zeise and Russell Servais.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, November 21, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., from 4 PM to 6 PM. A memorial service will take place at 6 PM, with Rev. Earl Smith officiating.
