Maxine Ann Anger, 63, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday, September 26, 2013 after a nine year battle with cancer. She was born October 5, 1949, to the late Richard and Claire (Ripp) Duquaine. Maxine was a graduate from Luxemburg-Casco High School and continued her education in the nursing profession. She received her degree and became a registered nurse and was devoted to her patients and her career, working at Bellin Hospital for 45 years. She married Hubert Anger on July 7, 1973 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Champion. Maxine was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Community.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Hubert Anger and their two children: Jenny (Kurt) Craanen, Appleton and Carrie (Wes) Scheeran, Arlington Heights, IL; grandchildren: Brianna, Kasey and Molly; her brother, Robert DuQuaine, Luxemburg and her pet dog, Bailey. Maxine was an incredibly loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Duquaine.
Friends may call at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 3425 Willow Rd. from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday. Parish wake service 7:30 pm Sunday. Visitation will continue on Monday at the church after 9:30 am until time of mass. Funeral mass 10:30 am Monday at the church with Rev. Dan Viertel officiating.
