Zeamer, Myron "Mike"

Myron (Mike) Zeamer, 87, Woodside Lutheran Home, formerly of the Town of Rockland, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013.

He was born November 17, 1925 in Green Bay to the late George and Viola Brandenburg Zeamer. Mike married Hildegard Lippert on September 19, 1953, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Brillion. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family. He was very proud of his grandsons, Brian and Chad. Mike enjoyed working with his horses and attending horse pulling contests.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Russell Schroeder, De Pere; two grandsons: Brian and Erin Schroeder and Chad and Tiffany Schroeder; 4 great grandchildren: Hailey, Alyssa, Drew and Nora; one brother and one sister-in-law: Vernon and Elvera Zeamer; one sister, Adeline Blauert; further survived by sisters-in-law: Lois Zeamer, Ruth Zeamer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hildegard in 2005, a sister, Ruth (Hubert) Maertz; brothers: Hilmer Zeamer, Ervin Zeamer, and Melvin Zeamer, two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Victor Blauert and Adeline (Alois) Buretta.

Friends may call on Saturday, May 4, 2013, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Woodside Lutheran Home Chapel, 1040 Pilgrim Way, Green Bay until the time of service. Funeral service at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Steve Apfel officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, De Pere.
