Nathalie Wiza, 89, Pulaski, died peacefully at Jack and Engrid Meng Hospice Residence in Ledgeview on Saturday morning, November 10, 2012. The daughter of the late Waclaw and Mary (Wendzikowski) Zdziarski was born July 30, 1923, in Pulaski.
On November 12, 1947 she married Henry J. Wiza at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski. Together, they owned and operated Hank's Bar in Pulaski for many years. Henry preceded her in death on March 26, 2000. She was a member of Assumption B.V.M. Parish in Pulaski, where she was a lifetime member of the Rosary Society, serving as past officer. She had a special devotion to the Rosary.
She is survived by one sister-in-law, Marge Zdziarski, Green Bay; several nieces and nephews, Robert (Maxine) Novitski, Green Bay; Barbara (Alan) Patz, Green Bay; Gloria Novitski, Green Bay; Carol (Zdziarski) Osgood, DePere; Michael Zdziarski, DePere; Mary (James) Durkin, Colorado; Nancy (Chris) Heyrman, Green Bay; James (Paula) Zdziarski, Manitowoc; Linda (James) Kleckner, Madison; Ken (Patti) Zdziarski, Oak Creek;
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law Genevieve (Raymond) Novitski; her brother Casimir (Casey) Zdziarski, and her nephew, Richard Novitski.
Friends may call at Assumption B.V.M . Parish, 124 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, at 10:00a.m. Thursday. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00a.m. Thursday at the church, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M. presiding. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
