Patricia C. Martell, 81, died peacefully, at a local nursing home Friday, August 17, 2012. Born in Green Bay, May 10, 1931, she is the daughter of the late Clarence and Eleanor (Tasquin) Rentmeester. Pat married James Martell April 14, 1951, and he preceded her in death on October 17, 1986. She worked at Encompass Child Care as a "Foster Grandma", and Zesty's Frozen Custard. Pat was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and "grandma great." She loved playing bridge, golfing, the Green Bay Packers, times spent with grandchildren, travel, and Music at the Park. Pat was a member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in De Pere.

She is survived by her son, Mark Martell; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Russ Burt, all of Green Bay, and Paula and James Duncan Kewaunee; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Jean Rentmeester of De Pere; Pat's special friend, Gene "Lowell" Drevs of Waukesha; and special family friend, Robin Dutcher of Green Bay; many other relatives

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister and brother-in-law, Marlene and Carl De Groot.

Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird Street, Monday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral at 7:00 P.M. with the Rev. Ralph Merkatoris officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in her name with proceeds going to Masses.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of San Luis Medical and Rehab (Kindred Hearts) and Heartland Hospice for all of the special care provided to Pat.
