Golubski, Peter F.

Peter F. Golubski, 80, Pulaski, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013 in Pulaski. The son of Peter and Anna (Karcz) Golubski was born June 28, 1933 in Pulaski and had proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. On May 4, 1957, he married Regina Mroczkowski at St. Casimir Church, Krakow. She preceded him in death on March 2, 2000. Pete had been employed at Fort Howard for nearly 40 years.

He was a member of Assumption B.V.M. Parish in Pulaski. Pete enjoyed fishing, craftwork, and watching the Green Bay Packers. He was a season ticket holder for UWGB Women's Basketball games, which he attended with the company of his UWGB friends, Lon and Carole Bartelt, and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ray and Helen Kozlowski.

Survivors include four children: Cindy (Frank) Szczepaniec, Sobieski; Debbie (Keith) Reinhardt, Gillett; Larry (partner Russ Donaldson) Golubski, Long Beach, CA; Ken Golubski, Wilmington, NC; seven grandchildren: Russell (Marci) Szczepaniec, Denton, TX; Sarah Szczepaniec, Humble, TX; and Michael (Becka) Szczepaniec, Appleton; Karla (Jon) Habeck, Pulaski; and Douglas (Lynn) Reinhardt, Racine; Jacob and Zachary Golubski, Wilmington, NC; eight great-grandchildren; his godchild, Gail Drossart, Green Bay; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Leonard (Martha) Mroczkowski, Krakow; Ray (Helen) Kozlowski, Pulaski; Frank (Sheila) Mroczkowski, Shawano; Matt (Phyllis) Dufeck, Pound; Syl "Butch" (Theresa) Wesoloski, Oconto Falls; James (Pat) Mroczkowski, Pulaski; Gerald (Mary) Wojkiewicz, Pulaski; Karen Mroczkowski, Krakow; and Robert (Sue) Simkowski, Plover; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his wife, Regina, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Krause and Gertrude Hams; brothers-in-law: Adolph Polczinski, Joe Krause, and Ray Mroczkowski.

Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, from 4-8p.m. Monday. Closing Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. The visitation continues at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Fr. Bob Konkol, O.F.M. presiding, with burial in the parish cemetery.
