Larscheid, Rose Marie

Rose Marie Larscheid, 90, Green Bay, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014. She was born May 15, 1924 in Hiles, WI to George and Margaret (Short) Stoehr.

Rose Marie graduated from Green Bay West High School, Class of 1942. On September 25, 1948, she married Kenneth Larscheid. Rose Marie was a lifetime member of St. Jude Parish, where she sang with the choir, and was a Religious Education teacher and communion distributer at church, nursing homes, and hospitals. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Rose Marie is survived by her children, Wayne, Colleen (Jerry) LeMieux, Michele Van Horn, and Thomas; grandchildren, Alex, Nicholas, and Taylor; siblings, Donald (Ruth) Stoehr, Mary Ann (Jim) Dobratz, Peggy (Frank) Millhiser; brother-in-law, Glenn Larscheid; sister-in-law, Nathalie (Firman) Balza; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken; her parents; son-in-law, Kregg Van Horn; brother-in-law, Carlton (Phyllis) Larscheid; and sister-in-law, Kathy Larscheid.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Friends may also call at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division St., from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church with Rev. A memorial fund has been established in Rose Marie's name to benefit diabetes research.
