Rosemary P. Karman, age 92, formerly of E1684 Bolt Rd., Denmark entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Odd Fellow's Home, of Green Bay. Rosemary was born July 2, 1920 at Clarks Mills to the late William and Anastasia Klein Schadeberg and has been a lifelong area resident. She married Joe Karman on September 27, 1941 at Clarks Mills and he preceded her in death on November 29, 1984. She was a member of St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills where she was a member of the Rosary Society. Rosemary served as a volunteer at the Mishicot Nutrition Site and the Meals on Wheels program. She was also a member of the Kewaunee Co. Homemaker's Association. Rosemary enjoyed playing cards, and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. She loved following her husband's musical career and traveled twice with her husband's orchestra to Germany.
Survivors include one daughter and two sons-in-law: Kay and Keith Heim, of Green Bay, Ken Koenig, of Denmark, two sons and daughters-in-law: Roger J. and Peggy Karman, of Mishicot, William R. and Cathy Karman, of Denmark, 14 grandchildren: Kevin (Theresa) Karman, Brian Karman, Darren Karman, Brenda (Jeff) Brown, Rick (Rachelle) Karman, Mike (Chris) Karman, Mary (Kurt) Rosmarynowski, Tim Karman and his special friend, Tiffany, Stacy (Rob) Pickle, Heather (Scott) Ossmann, Nicole (Nathan) Welsing, Rachel (Matt) Guderyon, Jenn (Rob) Kozak, Mikel (Kevin) Perry, 21 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by one sister: Flora Ann (Eugene) Nowak, of Manitowoc, one sister-in-law: Rosella (Milton) Maly, of Larrabee, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter: Karen Koenig, a grandaughter: Lily Welsing, and by 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church, in Tisch Mills with the Reverend Ralph Merkatoris officiating, with burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call after 9:00 a. m. on Wednesday at the church, until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. There will be no Tuesday evening visitation. The Karman family would like to express a very special thank you to the entire staff of the Odd Fellows Home of Green Bay for the love, and special care given to Rosemary during her residency there. Your kindness will always be remembered. The Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting the Karman family with funeral arrangments.
