Delsart, Roy

Roy Delsart, 76, Green Bay, died peacefully at a local nursing home on February 19, 2013. Born on June 17, 1936, in Maplewood, he is the son of the late Albert and Melina (Splinger) Delsart. On April 13, 1957, he married Ruth Lee Hegnet in Green Bay and she preceded him in death on September 6, 2012. Roy faithfully worked at DeBaker Electric for 44 years. Roy enjoyed waterskiing, and doing various other outdoor activities with his wife. They were also avid motorcyclists.

Roy is survived by three children, Terry (Bonnie) Delsart, Green Bay, Tracy (Daniel) (Peterson) Delsart, Brussels, and Dean (Molly) Delsart, Town of Lawrence; four grandchildren, Christine Van Egeren (boyfriend, Jose Escobedo), Alise (Dan) Krueger, Mason Delsart, and Grant Delsart; two great grandchildren, Dylan and Lucas Krueger; two brothers, Raymond and Ken Delsart; four sisters, Violet, Pearl, Joyce "Joy," and Fern; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Gordon, Leonard, Richard, Clifford, and Millard; three sisters, Ruby, Lillian, and Labelle; parents; and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Memorial visitation Sunday (Feb. 24, 2013) at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, 2770 Bay Settlement Road, from 12:00 (noon) until the time of the service. Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the mausoleum chapel with the Rev. James Gerth officiating. MALCORE (East) Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family, 432-5579. Entombment at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
