Stanley Annoye, 85, Algoma, passed away peacefully in his sleep at St. Vincent Hospital on Tuesday May 15, 2012.
He was born October 18, 1926, in the Town of Lincoln to the late Alex and Victoria (Pinchart) Annoye. Stanley served his country during World War II, entering the Army in January 1945, and being discharged October 1946. He married Ruth Koss on November 12, 1949, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco. He owned and operated a dairy farm along with his wife and son, Dennis until retirement. He was also employed at Ralph Uecker Implement for over 20 years.
Stanley enjoyed spending time with his family and watching wrestling.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruth; four children, Dennis Annoye, Algoma, Dale (partner David Oskar) Annoye, Sherwood, Darlene Annoye, Algoma, Diane (Kerry) Heling, Algoma; grandchildren, Trish (Brad) Geisel, Kristy (Mike) Kaye, Bryan Heling; great grandchildren, Gaige and Gavin Geisel, Brianna and Alanah Kaye, Romyn Heling; two sisters, Loretta Annoye (twin sister), Beverly (Francis) Pierre; one brother, Roland (Grace) Annoye; sisters-in-law, Martha Annoye, Helen Annoye, LaVerne Souquet, Ramona Koss. He was preceded in death by brothers, Vincent, Harry, Elmer Annoye; sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine (Harold) DeGuelle; two brothers-in-law, Donald Souquet Sr., Charles Koss Jr.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Charles Sr. and Edith Koss.
Friends may call at Wiesner-Massart Funeral Home, Casco from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and again Friday morning at church from 9 to 10 a.m. Rosary 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial 10am Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Lincoln with Fr. Anthony Birdsall and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
