Daniel Daul, 69, of Ledgeview, died Thursday January 23, 2014 at home, following a short illness. The son of the late Louis and Harriet (Cavil) Daul was born December 22, 1944 in Green Bay. He married the former Jean Barlament on May 13, 1967 in De Pere. He served his country in the U.S. Army.
He worked at Selmer Construction Company for many years as a millwright. Dan worked at Fort Howard Steel as a maintenance manager until his retirement. Following retirement he worked part-time at Dorsch Ford in maintenance. He loved cars, car shows and racing. He and Jean had a lot of friends and he was a great story-teller; Dan will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a great family man and loved taking his grandkids everywhere he went.
Survivors include his wife, Jean, two children, Troy Daul, Tracy (Scott) Teske , five grandchildren, Dylan, Elanna, Cameron, Amanda, and Paige, two brothers, Bob (Bonnie) Daul, Dale (Mary) Daul, one sister, Paula Daul, one brother-by-law, Jim Barlament, one nephew and niece, Danny and Sarah. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law, Myrt and Howard Barlament, and one nephew, Eric Barlament.
