John Douglas Johnson, 35, of Green Bay, WI, returned to his heavenly home March 14, 2014. John was born August 10th, 1978 to Douglas Warren and Ellen (Kielpikowski) Johnson. He was raised on the Johnson Family farm in Denmark, WI. He spent many hours outside enjoying the sunshine on the hills with his sisters and cousins. Ziggy, as he was affectionately known, attended Community Service Center, known today as ASPIRO, followed by Syble Hopp School and recently, Paragon Industries.

John is survived by his mother, Ellen Johnson; his sisters, Hollie and Angela; Aunts and Uncles, Marty Kielpikowski, Barb and Dean Selner, Norma and Tom Scharenbroch, Sharon and John Kielpikowski, Nancy and Brian Kielpikowski, Kathy and Ross Johnson, Marilyn Winnekens and Charles Winnekens. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Ted Kielpikowski; paternal grandparents, Maryann and Warren Johnson; special cousins Ashley Kielpikowski, Jason and Tyler Selner and Renee (Brian) Vander Kinter; and many more cousins and family.

He will be welcomed home by his father, Douglas Warren Johnson; his maternal grandmother, Catherine Kielpikowski; his uncles and aunt, Bruce Johnson and Steve and Sandy Kielpikowski.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Monday from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral service 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Ron Belitz officiating. Interment will take place at the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.

The family would like to thank R.E.M. Home Manager Ruthanne and all the R.E.M. caregivers, Aurora Baycare, especially nurses Beth and Mary Lee, and Sister Laura Zelten for their care and love in our time of need.
