Jankowski, Samuel D.

Samuel D. Jankowski, 23, Green Bay, died unexpectedly Thursday April 3, 2014. He was born May 1, 1990 in Green Bay to David and Renee (Neerdaels) Jankowski. Sam attended Martin Elementary and Edison Middle School. He attended Preble High School graduating in 2008. Following high school he attended NWTC. Sam worked with his family at S & J Pallet and recently purchased his own business, Survey Supply Shop. He was a league sponsor for basketball at the KROC Center and was an avid bowler. Sam always enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family especially his Dad. He loved his family dearly and especially Aliyah and Anthony his niece and nephew. Sam always had a smile on his face for everyone he met.

He is survived by his parents, Dave and Renee; sister, Lindsay Jankowski, Green Bay; niece and nephew Aliyah and Anthony; paternal grandfather, Sylvester Jankowski, Green Bay; aunts and uncles: Terry (Rod) Moran, St. Michael, MN; Dale Jankowski, Green Bay; Michael Neerdaels, West Bend; Roxane (Gerald) Felder, Jacksonville, FL; Mark (Jodi) Neerdaels, Oneida; great aunt Irene Jankowski, Green Bay; aunts, uncles and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Ileta Neerdaels and his paternal grandmother, Shirley Jankowski.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 4:00-8:00 pm Monday. Parish Wake service 7:30 pm Monday. Visitation will continue on Tuesday after 10:00 am at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, until time of mass. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Tuesday at the church with Rev. Willard Vandeloo officiating. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Pine Grove.
