Libert, Chad

Chad F. Libert, 39, Green Bay resident, died unexpectedly, Friday, April 4, 2014. He was born February 20, 1975 in Green Bay to Susan (Prokash) Libert and Frederick Libert. Chad attended Baird Elementary School, Edison Middle School and Preble High School. Following high school he was employed at Pecard Chemical Company for over 17 years and attended classes at NWTC obtaining his Associate Degree, with honors, in Electromechanical Technologies. Chad was currently employed at Hudson-Sharp Machine Company. He had many interests throughout his life. Chad was very proud to be a certified Pyrotechnician, Certified Scuba Diver and a Certified Sky Diver. He enjoyed outdoor motorsports, especially 4-wheeling and dirt biking. He loved fishing and driving the fastest bass boat in Wisconsin…..according to Chad. He had a passion for his salt water aquarium and designed a system with his dad that grew coral and was maintenance free. Chad shared his love of animals with his mom and enjoyed the company of his two dogs.

He is survived by his mother, Susan Libert and her companion, Gary Markert, Green Bay; his father, Frederick Libert, Green Bay; his sister, Nicole Libert, Green Bay; Chad's cousin, Chris Heim, Green Bay and his maternal grandmother, Louise Prokash and her special friend, Bob Lanz, Green Bay; his former wife, Amanda Reed, Green Bay as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and lifelong friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Sylvester Prokash and paternal grandparents, Milton and Colombe Libert; his cousin, Cameron Baenen.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. after 3:00 pm Tuesday until time of service. Memorial Service 5:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Seidl officiating. On-line condolences may be sent to Chad's family at www.prokowall.com.

Chad's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to their friends and relatives who were so supportive, especially Tracy and Brad.
