Reinke, Quentin

Quentin V. Reinke, 97, Allouez, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2014 with his wife by his side. He was born February 14, 1917, in Montpelier to Edward and Pauline (Cibulka) Reinke. He graduated from Badger Business College and began a 45 year career with Peoples Marine Bank, retiring as vice president and comptroller in 1982. Quentin served his country in the Army/Air Force from 1942 to 1946. On February 9, 1946, he married Mary A. Seidl at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kewaunee.

Quentin was a member of the American Institute of Banking, the Bank Administration Institute, and was a past president of the Green Bay Bankers Association. He had also served as treasurer of the Green Bay Camera Club, was a member of the financial committee of St. Mary of the Angels Parish and had been involved with the Boy Scouts. Quentin enjoyed the being in the outdoors, whether it be fishing, hunting, or mushroom picking. He also enjoyed photography and woodworking.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; five sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Betty, Jay and Marge, Phil and Brenda, Tom and Marie, and Steve and Laurie Reinke. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Brooke (Reed) Harris, Carson (Laura) Reinke, Andrew Reinke, Jessica Reinke, Jennifer Reinke; two great-grandchildren, Quentin Harris and Sadie Reinke; a brother, Edwin Reinke; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Pauline Reinke; and two brothers, Jerome and Oliver Reinke.

Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4 to 7 p.m Tuesday. Parish wake service 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 645 S. Irwin Ave. with the Rev. Patrick Gawrylewski. OFM officiating. Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.

The Reinke family extends a special thank you to Dr. Joseph Dobson, Heartland Hospice and the entire staff at Allouez Parkside for their compassionate care of Quentin.
