Jim Lindeman, 60, Green Bay, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born June 23, 1953, in Green Bay, to Jerry and Katie (Collins) Lindeman.
Jim graduated from Premontre High School, Class of 1971. On November 12, 1983 he married Cathy Rousseau at St. Jude Catholic Church. For over 40 years, Jim was employed by Kerscher Metal, now Temperature Systems, both as a truck driver and warehouse supervisor. He was the most dedicated employee there and was very proud of that fact. Jim was also very proud to have played football for Premontre High School, winning the State Football Championship.
Jim loved kayaking, bonfires, and beer drinking with friends and family. He also enjoyed tailgating at Packer games and revisiting Upper Michigan where he had spent so much time driving truck and enjoying the people he met there. Jim especially enjoyed being with his many friends in the Adventure Club, Wednesday night bowling, the Handsome Men's Club, and the Mug Club at Titletown Brewery.
Jim is survived by his wife, Cathy; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Chad (Becky) Lindeman, Green Bay; Ryan Lindeman, Kaukauna; Brett Lindeman, Madison; granddaughter, Sophia; his mother, Katie (Collins) Lindeman, Green Bay; sister and brother-in-law, Barb (Tom) DeVillers, Green Bay; and nephew/godson, Greg DeVillers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry; and three good friends, Ken Mc Ginnis, Gordy Heraly and John O'Brien.
Friends may call at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division St., from 3 to 8 pm. Monday. Friends may also call from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Rev. Donald Everts officiating. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family.
