Schroeder, Marshall E.

Marshall "Bud" E. Schroeder, 83 De Pere, WI passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014.

Marshall was born in 1930 to Marshall and Erna (Krueger) Schroeder in Manitowoc, WI.

Marshall married Elaine L Steinbarth on March 16th, 1957 in Fond du Lac, WI where they lived until 1967. They moved to De Pere, WI and lived there until after retirement when they moved "up north" to their cabin in Athelstane, WI to enjoy their 40 acres and all the wildlife it held. Marshall loved living in the north woods and got great joy at watching the deer, bear and all the various other wildlife; especially the pair of sandhill cranes that returned each spring. In 2012 Marshall and Elaine moved back to De Pere.

Marshall served in the National Guard for several years.

Marshall's entire career was in the construction trade finally retiring in 1992 as Vice President and part owner of Howard Immel Inc., Green Bay, WI.

Marshall is survived by his wife Elaine and daughter Laurie Spah (special friend David Pierro). He is further survived by his two brothers Thomas Schroeder (North Fond du Lac, WI) and Ross Schroeder (Denver, Co), sisters-in-law Arlene Kolacki, Bonnie Goodwin and Barbara (James) Nimmer, many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Besides his parents and grandparents Marshall was preceded in death by his two sisters, Gretchen Kellenberger and Sue Lahn and brothers-in-law Arthur and William Steinbarth.
