DeMarco, Ralph Michael

Ralph M. DeMarco, 85, Neenah, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at Rennes Care Center, Appleton. Ralph was born November 15, 1928, in Green Bay, son of Ralph and Barbara (Kulhanek) DeMarco. Ralph married Janet Jackson January 12, 1957, in Green Bay. She preceded him in death on January 26, 2014. He graduated from St. Norbert College, Green Bay. Ralph honorably served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1954. He was employed as a chemist with Neenah Paper, a division of Kimberly Clark Corporation for 30 years. Ralph played trumpet in the Neenah Community Band for 40 years, and was a member of the original Packer band called the "Lumberjacks." He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah. Ralph had a great sense of humor and enjoyed music, golf, and black jack.

Ralph is survived by daughters: Christine (Tim) Sauer and Lea (Jim) Vanden Boom; sons: Ralph (Linda) DeMarco and David (Mary-Faye) DeMarco; grandchildren: Kaylin, Lauren, Michelle, Benjamin, Timothy, Sabra, Dashel, Zane, and Ivy; and many other relatives and friends.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2014, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger Street, Neenah, with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery, Green Bay. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established at a later time; please make any contributions payable to Christine Sauer.

Ralph's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Rennes Care Center for their wonderful care and compassion for Dad.
