Mark A. Engebretsen

Mark A. Engebretsen, 54, Suamico, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 following complications from Heart Disease. Mark was born on March 6, 1960 in Green Bay the son of James C. and Mavis (LaBocki) Engebretsen. He was employed in the family business~ Engebretsen Auto Rebuilders starting in high school. Later, upon his Dad's retirement Mark purchased the business and continued to operate it presently. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time in the woods deer hunting and was fortunate enough to have shot many trophy bucks. Mark had many interests and passions in life but his greatest joy and love was his family and friends.

Mark is survived by his daughter Tiara Rose Engebretsen, his father James Engebretsen and his fiancé Joan Lannoye, two sisters Lori (Mark) Fick, Vicki (Kevin) Linzmeier, one brother James "Jamie" B. Engebretsen. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews and the many special friends that he took into his heart and his home.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mavis and his grandparents.

Gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Monday, May 19, 2014 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church 2597 Glendale Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. John Bergstadt officiating. Burial at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.

The family would like to offer a warm note of appreciation to the first responder EMT's and the entire emergency room staff of St. Mary's Hospital and Chaplain Marshall for all of their gallant efforts in trying to save Mark~ your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. Although he was taken from us too soon, he will continue to live on through his organ donations.
