Warner, Renate D.

Renate D. Warner, 85, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Bishops Court Nursing Home. She was born March 13, 1929, in Torun, Poland.

Renate enjoyed hosting all the family friends, hunters and fisherman that would come up to the north woods for the seasons. She also enjoyed playing cribbage and spending time at the Salvation Army.

Renate is survived by her six children, Renny (Brad) Goddard, Green Bay; Viki Valentine, Suamico; Margaret (Bill) Stack, Lakeville, MN; Jenny Selissen, Green Bay; Mark (Barbara) Hansen, Lomira; Tim (Patti) Warner, Crooked Lake; a sister, Barbara Maness, Nottingham, PA; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in dead by her husband, Robert; her parents, Josef and Margaret; a sister, Johanna Sturzl; and her brothers, Bernard and George.

Friends may call at The Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, 2770 Bay Settlement Rd., from 12 Noon to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, July 3. The Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, July 3 at the mausoleum, followed by entombment. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family.
