Vernelda M. "Vernie" Rott, 82, Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014. She was born in Luxemburg, on December 26, 1931, to the late George and Mary (Deterville) Linzmeier. On June 1, 1976, she married Robert W. Rott. Vernie was a devoted member of the Synagogue.
Surviving are her step-son, Dave (Jane) Rott; step-grandchildren, Jay (Amy) Rott, Jacob (special friend, Felicia Ruff) Rott, Joel Rott; a step- great-granddaughter, Emily Rott; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Nancy Vieaux, Gary and Joanie Vieaux, Carl and Lynn Rott, Nancy Compton; nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert W. Rott on October 13, 2008; a step-great-granddaughter, Samantha Rott; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vivian and Louis Pigeon, Marian and Frank Resch, Hilaria and Lindy LeCloux, Rose Marie Linzmeier; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alvin and Ethel Linzmeier, Bud and Marvel Linzmeier; and a brother-in-law, Dick Compton.
The family will gather after 1 p.m. Sunday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
