Stamm, Patricia Ann
Patricia Ann Stamm, 63, Green Bay resident, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family early Sunday morning, June 29, 2014. She was born November 22, 1950, in Manitowoc, to the late Edward and Viola (O'Malley) Jirikowic. Patti was a 1969 graduate of Lincoln High School in Manitowoc and received her BA in Family and Child Development from UWGB. Patti married Dr. John R. Stamm on May 31, 1971, at United Church of Christ in Manitowoc. She served as President of the Navy Wives Oakleaf Club while her husband served in the US Navy, and she subsequently volunteered her time and talents with Unity Hospice for a number of years. Patti loved to be a stay at home mother to her two daughters as well as a wife to her husband. She loved being outside and working in her perennial gardens. She loved watching the various birds that visited throughout the seasons, especially her cardinals that returned to her, year after year. She had a passion for reading history and listening to classical music. She loved life. Patti was devoted to her family and friends and treasured the time they spent together. She was currently a member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church in De Pere. She will be sadly missed by everyone that knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. John Stamm and their two children, Sarah (Bryan) Hoff, Green Bay and Rachel (Josh) Phillips, Suamico; her granddaughter, Annabel Phillips; nine brothers and sisters: Edward (Kathryn) Jirikowic, Jackson, MS; Judy (Ralph) Wobschall, Boynton Beach, FL; Barbara Jagemann (and the late Art Jagemann); Donna (Dennis) Markowski and Carol (Al) Chermak, all of Manitowoc; Marlene (Joe) Merrin, Plant City, FL; James (Bonnie) Jirikowic, Manitowoc; Vicki Jirikowic, Georgetown, CA; her sister-in-law, Mary Ann Jirikowic (and the late Gary Jirikowic, Patti's twin brother), Manitowoc; and brother, Jeff Jirikowic, Appleton; her mother-in-law, Muriel Jean Stamm (and the late Richard Radcliffe Stamm), Denver, CO; brother-in-law, Michael (Karen) Stamm, Alexandria, VA; and her sister-in-law; Elizabeth (Hank) Carter, Denver, CO; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday. Visitation will continue on Thursday at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 347 S. Libal St., De Pere, after 9:30 am. Funeral Service 10:30 am Thursday at the church with Rev. Jim Conradt officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
