Margaret Staszak

Margaret "Margie" Staszak, 83, Krakow, died Sunday, June 29, 2014, at her home following a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma, with her family at her side. The daughter of Antone and Anna (Bulkowski) Dombrowski was born December 25, 1930, in Krakow and was a 1948 graduate of Pulaski High School. On October 7, 1950, she married Marvin Staszak at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski.

Margie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and we will all miss her. Mom enjoyed working in her flower gardens, cooking and baking, planning parties for family and friends, and getting together with loved ones for holidays. Everyone enjoyed her dill pickles, banana bread, and pasties.

She shared her talents and love of cooking and baking through her work at Brzezinski Bros. Super Market and the deli at Super Ron's Food Center. She was an active and lifelong member of St. Casimir Parish in Krakow, where she belonged to the Altar Rosary Society.

Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Marvin; her children: Michele Tooker, Rochester, MN, Deborah Rodgers, Pulaski, Michael (Renee) Staszak, Little Suamico, Patrick (Faye) Staszak, Pulaski, and Thomas (Connie) Staszak, Green Bay; her grandchildren: Eric and Scott, Brad (Mary), Martina (Adam), Jeffrey (Meghan), and Melissa (Jon), Adam, Jacob, and Ashley, Chase, Jaisha, and Reese, Zac, Aaron, Marshall, and Parker; great-grandchildren: Tanner, Alexander, Brandon, and Simon; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant great-grandson, Nicholas, a sister, Lorraine Brycki, and a brother, Leonard Dombrowski.

Friends may call at St. Casimir Church, W146 Park St., Krakow, at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church, Fr. Bob Konkol, O.F.M. presiding with burial in the parish cemetery.

The family would like to thank Dr. Anthony Jaslowski, the nurse practitioners, nurses, and the entire staff of Green Bay Oncology, and the nurses, aides and social workers of Unity Hospice.
