Bergelin, Lorraine T.

Lorraine T. Bergelin, 86, Green Bay, died peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2014. She was born on May 23, 1928 in the town of Eaton to the late Stanley and Margaret (Wipisnski) Mostek. On August 23, 1947, she married Orville Bergelin at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church; he preceded her in death on November 10, 1985. Lorraine was a loving mother to her 3 sons and enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She was a member at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church.

She is survived by her three sons, Robert (Sharon) Bergelin; Thomas (Shirley) Bergelin; David (Andrea) Bergelin; grandchildren, Sean (Sarah), Brenda (Kerry), Celestia Kuruzovich, Renee, Liz, Leah (Sompon), Kelly Jo (Andrew), Tess, Andrew; great grandchildren, McKenzie, Gavin, Jacob, Myles, Conner, Kinley, Alana, Brady, Bennett, Dominic; siblings, Eddie (Ruth) Mostek; Dorothy Kimps; Mary Jane (Wayne) Verhagen; sister-in-law, Roberta Mostek; lifelong friend, Evelyn Peer; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Mostek; brother-in-law, Walter Kimps; sister-in-law, Elaine Mostek.

Friends may call at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 645 S. Irwin Ave., on Wednesday (TODAY) from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Wednesday (TODAY) at the church with Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, OFM officiating. Burial taking place in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.

The family would like to thank Dr. Warren, the staff of Grancare Nursing Home and Fr. Patrick for all of their special care and compassion the have given.
