Jacob "Ponyboy" Jay Peters, our little Angel went to Heaven on Saturday, July 12, 2014. He was born June 10, 2014, to the proud parents of Monica Garrett and Adam Mencheski, weighing 7 lbs. 12 oz. He was sadly called to Heaven too soon.
Jacob is survived by his brother and sisters, Charlene "Pookie", Madison "FuFu", Kiaya "Little Feather", Jessie "Golden Boy", and DaiShaun; grandparents, Darlene Peters, and Loretta and Pat Mencheski, aunts and uncles, Jordan (Armando) Stevens), Ashley and Baby Marty Stevens, Kacci (Peter), Samual (Everlee) Cannon, Little Larry Peters, Bryan Detrey, Eric (Deb) Mencheski, Melissa (Scott) Mencheski, Patrick Jr. (Sami) Mencheski, Amanda (Jay) Coulson, Matthew Mencheski; great-aunts and great uncles, Ellie, Marty, Mer, and Jeff; godparents, Caroljean (Guzzie) Stevens; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry Peters, Sr.; great-grandparents, Robert (Hazel) Jordan, and Finley (Pearl) Peters; aunt, Crystal (Kerry) Stevens; uncle, Kane; and great-aunt, Cubby.
Friends may call at Oneida Methodist Church, N6037 Country Road E, Oneida; from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 16. The Oneida Singers will be at 10:30 a.m., followed by the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Rev. Candace Ascher officiating. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family. Jacob's family would like to extend a special thank you the First Responders, the Oneida Police Dept., and Green Bay Rescue.
