Koury, Barbara "Willy" (Willmann)

Barbara "Willy" (Willmann) Koury, 65, Green Bay, died Sunday, July 20, 2014. She was born June 15, 1949, in Marinette to the late Roy and Kay (Coffey) Willmann. Her mother died at a young age and she was then raised by her father and step-mother, Helen Willmann.

She started her career at West Bank and Trust and most recently worked at Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. On October 1, 1992, Willy received a kidney for transplant from her sister, Kate - the greatest gift besides her children, Ryan and Meghan. She enjoyed life to its fullest. Willy loved to sing, garden, plan family events, watch movies, read, crochet, take trips to Door County and especially make people smile.

Willy leaves behind her son and daughter, Ryan Koury, and Meghan (significant other, Shane) Koury; their father, Rick Koury; a grandson, Syrus Kasel; four brothers and three sisters, Mike McDonnell and his wife, Stephanie Blazer, Mary (Tom) Koslowski, Kate Nowicki, Tim Willmann, Willy's twin brother, Roy (Kathy) Willmann, John (Kathy) Willmann, Sue (Don) Kissinger; five brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Bob (Paula) Koury, Joe (Sissy) Koury, Dianna (Dan) Seidel, Dennis Koury, Dave (Mary Jo) Koury, Mary Jeanne (Jeff) Dobratz; 27 nieces and nephews; 19 great-nieces and great-nephews; a great-great-niece and great-great-nephew; her canine companion, Sam I Am; and many friends.
