Marilyn Brauer, 64, Green Bay, died Thursday, August 7, 2014, after a long battle with diabetes. She was born October 3, 1949, in De Pere to Clarence and Florence Chopin.
Marilyn graduated from De Pere High School. In 1971, she was united in marriage to Duane Brauer in De Pere. Marilyn enjoyed feeding the birds, watching her favorite TV shows, knitting, taking care of her two cats, going for car rides in the country, and browsing on her computer.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Duane; a son, Timothy Brauer, Green Bay; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jennifer and Kevin Furcho, Ashwaubenon; Jodi Brauer, Bonduel; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Tom Chopin, De Pere; a sister, Clarine Shakelford, Florida; her lifelong close friend, Mary Nooyen; her feline companions, Powder and Polly; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
