Doperalski, Audrey

Audrey Doperalski, age 67 of Kewaunee died unexpectedly on Monday, August 11, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Montpelier on June 14, 1947 to the late Elroy and Ruth (Schultz) Gruetzmacher.

Audrey graduated from Luxemburg High School in 1965. She married Daniel Doperalski on April 20, 1968.

She worked as a Lab Technician testing milk samples for Gallenberger Dairy Records for many years until retiring. She was a member of Holy Rosary Parish.

Survivors include her husband of forty-six years, Daniel; one daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and Gary Paul, Oshkosh; two sons and daughters-in-law: Daniel Jr. and Wendy Doperalski, Algoma; Todd and Tara Doperalski, Luxemburg; seven grandchildren; Laken and Jensen Paul; Bryce and Clayton Doperalski; Noah, Ava and Jonah Doperalski; one sister: JoAnn (Charles) Bertrand, Luxemburg; one brother: Randy Gruetzmacher. She was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law: Arlene and Robert Huber; one sister-in-law: Jill Gruetzmacher.

Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 15, at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee. A parish wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues on Saturday at the funeral home until 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, Kewaunee. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
