Clayton R. Westcott, 87, Green Bay, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014. He was born January 5, 1927 to the late Erving and Lucille (Longsigne) Westcott in Oconto. On November 1, 1947 he married Irene Fabry. She preceded him in death on December 7, 2010.
Clayton served his country in the United States Navy in World War II from 1942 to 1946. He had been employed at Procter and Gamble, retiring in 1984. Clayton and Irene enjoyed traveling in their RV to new destinations and he was a life time member of Bay Sammers RV Club. Clayton also enjoyed hunting, gardening and traveling. He liked spending time with family, friends and especially grand and great-grandchildren.
Clayton is survived by one son, Randy (Lena) Westcott, Howard; grandchildren, Clayton Westcott, Suamico and Sarah (Andy) Dittman; great-grandchildren, Autumn and Bryce Dittman; two sisters, Carol Frisque and Sylvia Gerrits.
In addition to his wife, Clayton was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald and Royce and sister, Darlene Cain.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 15, 2014 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Randy Westcott officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
