Shirley Lawler Obituary
Lawler, Shirley A.

Shirley A. Lawler, age 85, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2014. She was born on October 5, 1928 to the late John and Sarah (Lemerond) Pritchard in Green Bay. Shirley was a 1946 graduate of Green Bay West High School. On October 23, 1948 she married Everett Lawler at Annunciation Catholic Church in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2005. Shirley was employed by Wisconsin Telephone Company and AT & T for 27 years and retired in 1984. She was a proud member of the Telephone Company Pioneers, a volunteer group. She and Everett enjoyed traveling; Shirley read the maps and navigated and Everett drove the car. They were fortunate to visit all 50 states.

Shirley is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Randy Baeten of De Pere; her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Lawler of Milwaukee and her grandson, Brett Everett Baeten of De Pere. Shirley is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Lawler and a brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Ann Pritchard; and her good friend, Clarence Kimps. Shirley cherished spending time with Everett's brother and sisters and their families.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 12:00 noon with Reverend Sue Ellen Kelly, Shirley's cousin, officiating. Burial will be at Mill Center Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com. Memorials will be donated to Unity Hospice in Shirley's name.

A special thank you to the staffs of Rennes Rehabilitation, Autumn's Promise, Unity Hospice, especially Andrea, for the compassionate and loving care they gave Shirley.
