Meyer, Bernice M.

Bernice M. Meyer, 98, Green Bay, died Saturday, August 16, 2014, following a long illness. She was born February 16, 1916, in Highland Park, IL to Frank and Margaret (Farrell) Sack.

Bernice was raised in Mooseheart, IL. On October 3, 1939, Bernice married Ernest Meyer at St Mary's Catholic Church in Green Bay. They celebrated more than 45 years together. Ernest preceded her in death on January 19, 1985. Bernice had been a beauty operator as well as a receptionist at H.C. Prange Company. Throughout the years she enjoyed league bowling at Riviera Lanes.

Bernice is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Pat Meyer, Boston, MA; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn "Kathy" and John Clark, Hayward, WI; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, her parents and two brothers.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday. The Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Chaplain Ron Urmanski officiating. Burial will be in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery. To send online condolences, please go to
