Ruth A. Engebose, 90, formerly of Forestville, died Monday evening, May 7, 2012, at Bornemann Nursing Home, Green Bay. She was born in Rosiere, to the late Florian and Odile (LeRoy) LeGrave on Aug. 23, 1921. On Oct. 18, 1939, she married Edmund L. Engebose at St. Hubert Church, Rosiere. He preceded her in death Sept. 5, 1997. Her enjoyments included knitting, gardening, cooking and spending her time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Milton (Sharon) Engebose, Rosiere; Patricia (Lloyd) Everard, Angela (Donald) Spude, Diane (Gilbert) Spude, all of Luxemburg; Nancy (friend, Paul) Hawkins, Little Chute; Brenda Charles, Green Bay; 24 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Betty LeGrave, Suamico;, Andrew (Marie) Engebose, Luxemburg; Rose Marie Conard, Brussels; Clara Engebose, Casco; many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Donna; two grandsons, Paul and Todd; two great-grandsons, Spencer and Devon; five brothers and seven sisters; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law also preceded her.

Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012. Parish prayer service 7 p.m. Visitation will continue between 9:30 and 10:45 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012, at St. Hubert Church, Rosiere. Funeral 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Anthony Birdsall and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of The Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
