Mark S. Sloma Mark S. Sloma, age 44 of 2033 24th St. Two Rivers, died unexpectedly on Thursday May 17, 2012 of a sudden heart attack. He was born June 16, 1967 in Green Bay, son of Gerald and Sarah (Cavanaugh) Sloma. He graduated from Brillion High School class of 1985. Mark truly enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan on his boat "The Southern Bell". He loved sturgeon spearing and deer hunting. He was a lifetime member of the N.R.A., Wisconsin Whitetails Unlimited, East Shore Sturgeon Seekers Club and the Northeastern Wisconsin Great Lakes Sport Fishermen. He was a huge fan of the Chicago Bears and NASCAR. He enjoyed spending time with and helping his very close friend Carol Wachowski of Two Rivers and his many other friends. Mark is survived by his parents Gerald and Sarah Sloma of Brillion, brothers Robin Sloma and special friend Jean Klug of Brillion, Bruce Sloma of Appleton, sisters Sandra Sengbusch of Reedsville, and Kimberly (Richard) Ewing of Reedsville, a niece Sierra Sengbusch of Brillion, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Victor (Ada) Sloma, and Thomas (Julia) Cavanaugh. No matter what life sent his way, Mark lived everyday to the fullest. He was a proud member of the Oneida Tribe and was known to his friends as "Chief." Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 21 at 5:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Mike Betley will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and then again at the church on Monday from 4:00-4:45 p.m. with mass to follow at 5:00 p.m. The Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion is assisting the family with arrangements.
