James J. Ronski, 72, Green Bay, died early Sunday morning, May 20, 2012, at a local hospital. Born April 11, 1940, in Green Bay, he is the son of Dorothy A. (Burchard) Ronski and the late Joseph P. Ronski. Jim faithfully served in the U.S. Army. He was a proud, hard worker who served most of his years as an employee of Packerland Packing. Jim will be remembered as a man who lived a simple life. He was very dedicated to his family.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Ronski; one son and daughter-in-law, Ron (Sandy) Ronski, Manitowoc; one daughter, Carol Ronski, Manitowoc; five grandchildren, Jeremiah D. J. and Olivia R. Ronski, and Bailly, Caissy, and Dustin Bashaw; two great-grandchildren, Tayler A.M. Kokesch and Loriana Boe; eight brothers and sisters, Mary (Larry) Stordeur, Green Bay, Josie Van Den Heuvel, Green Bay, Donna (Bill) Haack, Pleasant Prairie, WI, Irene Fails, Fond du Lac, John Ronski, Wausau, Margaret (Chris) Vande Hei, Green Bay, Daniel Ronski, Plainfield, IL, and Christine Webster, Green Bay; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Joseph.
Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, Wednesday, from 4-8 p.m. Parish wake service 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Visitation to continue Thursday at St. Mary of the Angels Church, 645 South Irwin Avenue, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church with Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M. officiating. Burial in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Isaar.
