Bries, Mark A. Mark A. Bries, 58, Mishicot resident, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, May 20, 2012. He was born on March 25, 1954 in Green Bay to Donald and Dorothy (Welsing) Bries. Mark graduated from Denmark High School with the class of 1972 and then attended NWTC. He worked for Millprint for many years. Mark enjoyed spending time with his dog Ginger at his house near Harp's Lake. He was an avid classic car enthusiast; during the '70s he and his buddy Wayne Krause were active members of the Studebaker Club in Green Bay. Over the years Mark restored and modified many Studebakers and Ford Mustangs but Mark loved his '53 Studebaker Coupe most. Mark enjoyed fishing and going on river floats with his family and friends. He also loved to hang out with his good and helpful friend Al Czarneski and the rest of the gang in Denmark. Mark was a kind brother, a sweet uncle and a dutiful son who helped out his mom by cutting the large lawn on her farm for the last thirteen years. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Bries; 4 brothers, Eric (Grace) Bries, Paul Bries, Glen (Michele) Bries, Lorne Bries; sister, Mary Jaekels; nieces and nephews, Aaron (Gina), Jenny (Willy), Delilah, Ryan (special friend, Molly), Lila, Sara, Claire and Tanner; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Bries; grandparents, Albert and Mary Bries; Arnold and Ethel Welsing; brother-in-law, Jim Jaekels. Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Thursday from 4 to 6 P.M. Memorial service 6 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Ralph Merkatoris officiating.
