Kelly Mondloch, 49, Oconto Falls, died Saturday afternoon at a friend's house in Sun Prairie following a year and a half illness with cancer. He was born November 26, 1962 in Texas to James and Sharon (Bliven) Mondloch. Kelly lived with his family in Texas and Spencer, Wis. before moving to Oconto Falls in 1976. Following graduation from Oconto Falls High School with the class of 1981, he entered the U.S. Army and proudly served his country for four years, three in Germany. Following his honorable discharge from the military, Kelly returned to Oconto Falls.
On December 19, 1985 he married Ellen Raithel in Oconto. Kelly lived most of his life in Oconto Falls and was employed at Aarrowcast, in Shawano, for 18 years. As a young man, Kelly really enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors are his one son, Robert (Kathy) Mondloch, Green Bay; two grandchildren, Max and Miles Mondloch; his parents, Sharon (Austin "Buck") Leach, Two Rivers; Jim (Cheryl) Mondloch, Oconto; his fiance, Kim Burns-Kujawski, Sun Prairie; aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Dr. Dawn W. Mondloch-Polk in 2002, his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation with the urn present will take place after 1 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls (920-848-2222 or visit: www.jonesfuneral.com) until the time of service. Memorial services will be held 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Elizabeth Lee officiating. Burial of the urn with military honors will take place in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
