Dianne Schaefer

Dianne L. Schaefer, 54, Town of Center, died peacefully Thursday evening, July 19, 2012, with her daughters and husband by her side. She was born January 9, 1958, in Green Bay to Wallace McDonald and the late Delilah (Vollmer) McDonald. Dianne was a 1976 graduate of Bayport High School. She married Thomas Schaefer on November 20, 1976, in Green Bay.

Dianne was a waitress at Jacks or Better Supper Club, High Cliff Supper Club and most recently, at the Main Event in Little Chute until her illness would not allow. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Freedom.

Dianne was happiest when she was spending time with her family, especially when her three girls were together. Family camping trips at Hartman Creek were always enjoyed, as well as the tubing adventures down the Wolf River. Dianne loved working in her garden, cooking and baking and sharing her creations with family and friends. When Tom would ask her to go out for dinner, she never refused. They enjoyed dinners at many Wisconsin restaurants. Dianne enjoyed dancing and she never required an audience. She will be sadly missed by her two canine companions, Lilly and Noah.

She is survived by her husband, Tom; and their three daughters, Erika (Bryan) Zilisch, Neenah; Erin (Jamie) Chapin, Oshkosh; Ashley (Shaun) Donohue, Oshkosh; her father, Wallace McDonald, Abrams; three sisters: Cynthia (Mike) Gillis, Suamico; Lori (Rusty) Peters, Sobieski and Michelle (Todd) Cullen, Green Bay; two brothers: Patrick (Raylene) McDonald, Sobieski and Kevin (Linda) McDonald, Green Bay; two brothers-in-law: Walter (Della) Schaefer, CA and Doug Schaefer, Green Bay; three sisters-in-law: Sandra (Hank) Weist, Luxemburg, Debbie (Jeff) Johnson, Green Bay and Terrie Bierhauls and her special friend, David Simms, Green Bay; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Eunice Schaefer and a sister-in-law, Charlotte Schaefer.
