 Schultz, Robert R.
Robert R. Schultz, 82, formerly of Milwaukee, Wis., died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at his home in Sycamore, Ill., after battling Parkinson's disease.
Born Nov. 6, 1930, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Gerald and Anita (Voit) Schultz, Bob married Beverly Burke formerly of Green Bay, on June 21, 1952.
Bob was a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served as a Hospital Corpsman Third Class. Later, he worked as a repair technician for Sears in Milwaukee for more than 20 years. He enjoyed doing yard work and household projects, dancing, bowling, and teasing his grandchildren. After retiring from Sears, Robert and Beverly moved to Mesa, Ariz,, where he enjoyed playing pool, investing and spending time with family.
Bob is survived by his wife, Beverly; son, Rick (Teresa) Schultz, Oklahoma City, Okla.; three grandchildren, Michele Schultz, DeKalb, Ill.; Jeremy (Chrissy) Schultz, Chicago, Ill.; and Angela (Carlos) Schultz, Beach Park, Ill.; eight great-grandchildren, Samantha Schultz and Jessica Townsend, DeKalb; Tessa, Maya and Ella Schultz, Chicago; and Desiree and Trevian Cook and Elin Ford, Beach Park.
He is also survived by four sisters and one brother, Jan Dziuba, Mesa, Ariz.; Kathy (Bill) Szymensky, Milwaukee; Joyce (Bill) Sutton, Algoma; Diane (Tony) Klemm, Menominee Falls; and Wayne (Paulette) Schultz, Milwaukee; in addition to many nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Joe Schultz.
He will always be remembered as a caring, loving, generous, and devoted family man.
