Hansen, Clyde A.

Clyde A. Hansen, 84, Suamico, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2012 after a 12 year battle with cancer. He was born on March 4, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Virgil and Ceil (Ullmer) Hansen. Clyde married Ruby Hansen, daughter of Henry and Francis Van Hoof. They were married for 59 years until her passing on Feb. 28, 2009. Clyde was employed at Wisconsin Public Service and retired after 42 years of loyal service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, painting, woodworking and loved traveling with his wife.

Survivors include his son, Alan L. (Vickie) Hansen; daughter, Cheryl A. Gilmet and special friend Steve Diehlmanm; son, Robert A. (Cheri) Hansen; sisters, Alice Hansen; Carol (Jim) Helgerson; grandchildren, Brandon Gilmet; Renee Hansen; Jessee Alan; Shanon Gilmet; Kimberly Hansen; Shane Hansen; Crystal Gilmet; Tanner Hansen; Katie Prucha; Lindsay Peterson; Colton Peterson; Logan Peterson; great grandchildren, Tristian Morrison; Vivica Gilmet; Lilly Hansen; Lucas Hansen, SkyLeigh Allen.

Clyde was preceded in death by his wife; daughter, Julie M. Peterson; brother and sister-in-law, Arnold and Mary Van Hoof.

Family and friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2561 Glendale Ave., Howard, on Wednesday, Dec. 12 from 2 until 4:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev.
