Nancy Mae Linssen, 70, De Pere, died Thursday, January 3, 2013, with her family at her side. She was born November 3, 1942 in Green Bay to Edward and Alice (Roskum) Jarvis. On November 4, 1961, she married Ken Linssen at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in De Pere.
Nancy graduated from St. Joseph Academy. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, knitting and crocheting many items which her family cherished. Nancy enjoyed teaching her crafts to anyone willing to learn. She also enjoyed her cruises to Alaska, Mackinaw, and the Titanic Memorial Cruise. Nancy will be remembered for her kind personality and her many close, meaningful friendships.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Ken; children and their spouses, Daniel and Sandra Linssen, Lori and Tom Hughes, Wayne and Melissa Linssen, Karen (and her significant other, Ben Korhorn) Shipley, Scott and Jennifer Linssen; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers and their wives, Jerome and Kathryn Jarvis, Edward and Del Jarvis, Ronald Jarvis; a sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne and Richard Leurquin. She is further survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and their spouses, Bernard and Carol Linssen, Ralph and Joyce Linssen, Russell Schmude, Bea Henrigillis, Lorraine Albers, Eunice Kocken, Mary Rukamp, Ruth and Bob Beining, Beverly and Richard Huxford, Joanne Linssen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Alice Jarvis; parents-in-law, Charles and Mayme Linssen; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Merlin Linssen, Gabriel Linssen, Marcella Schmude, Alvina and Leonard Schoessow, Norbert Henrigillis, Louis Albers, Walter Kocken, Donald Rukamp.
Friends may call at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere, from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at the church with Rev.
