Alfred Avery, 83, Green Bay, formerly of Duncan, OK, died Thursday, March 28, 2013. He was born September 25, 1929, in Utica, NY, to Alfred and Josephine (Wakefield) Avery.
Alfred served with the U.S. Army, in Germany, from 1951-1952, during the Korean Conflict. On October, 24, 1964, he married Denise Haman. He was employed by Halliburton in Duncan, OK until 1986. He then worked as a security guard for Fleet Farm until 2001. Alfred enjoyed spending time at St. Vincent de Paul.
Alfred is survived by his daughters, Karen (Kevin) Belonge and Michele Avery, both of Green Bay; his grandson, Kevin W. Belonge; two great-grandchildren, Dakota Belonge and Reanna Tardiff; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise; and his parents.
